Options income, on your rules.

Wheelwright watches your options-income book and tells you what needs a decision today — measured against the limits you set, not against anyone's opinion.

IT IS READ-ONLY. Wheelwright connects to your broker to read positions, cash and resting orders. It can never place, change or cancel an order. All trading happens in your broker's own app.

What it does

Five things — and it says so when it has nothing

Why the name

A wheelwright trues a wheel. So does this.

The options-income strategy it was built for is literally called the wheel — four phases that turn into one another, each with its own rules about when to act and when to sit still. Most of the work is knowing which phase you're in.

PHASE 01

Sell a put

Cash secured, at a strike you'd genuinely be happy to own. Collect the premium.

PHASE 02

Take assignment

If it's put to you, you own shares at a basis below where you sold.

PHASE 03

Sell a call

Covered by those shares, above your basis. Collect premium again.

PHASE 04

Get called away

Shares leave at a profit, cash comes back, and the wheel turns.

The strategy is simple. Keeping track of eleven positions across two accounts, each at a different point in the turn, is not.

The rules are yours

Nothing here is a recommendation

You set the delta bands, the days-to-expiry window, the minimum annualised yield, the notional cap and its per-name share, the profit-capture target. Wheelwright applies them and shows its working. Change a limit and every verdict changes with it.

Not a broker-dealer

It holds nothing, routes nothing, and settles nothing.

Not an adviser

No personalised advice. Every order is yours to place and yours to own.

Deterministic

The same book and the same rules produce the same answer, every time.

Honest about its data

An unknown is reported as an unknown

Prices come from the most recent settled market close, under the data provider's licensing terms — not a live feed. Every screen names the session its numbers came from, so you always know what you're reading.

If a check cannot be made — not enough history for an implied-volatility rank, a missing earnings date — Wheelwright says so instead of guessing.

Always verify the current bid and ask at your broker before trading. A settled close is not a live quote, and Wheelwright never pretends otherwise.
